Escape with Romeo, Almanya kökenli bir rock müzik grubudur. 1989 yılında kurulan grup, özgün tarzıyla gothic rock, post-punk ve dark wave gibi alt türlerde etkili olmuştur. Grubun kurucu üyeleri ve ana şarkı yazarları arasında şarkıcı ve gitarist Thomas Elbern, klavyeci Martin Hesselbach ve basçı James D. Grant bulunmaktadır. İlk albümleri "Escape with Romeo" 1990 yılında piyasaya çıktı ve pek çok müzik eleştirmeni tarafından olumlu eleştiriler aldı. Escape with Romeo, karanlık atmosferi, etkileyici vokalleri ve güçlü enstrümantasyonuyla dikkat çekmektedir. Şarkı sözlerinde genellikle aşk, kayıp, umutsuzluk ve melankoli gibi temaları işlemektedir. Grubun müziği, özellikle The Cure, Joy Division ve Bauhaus gibi gruplarla karşılaştırılmıştır. Grup, 1990'ların başından itibaren Almanya'nın yanı sıra Avrupa'nın birçok ülkesinde konserler verdi ve müziklerini geniş bir hayran kitlesiyle paylaştı.
